Text from teacher friend in Rafah: "They struck the whole Gaza Strip at the same second. Many of the casualties are school children. My colleague told me he has seen 8 cases of death in the street. He picked his son alive. I am in my school now and the horror is everywhere in Gaza."
A Palestinian friend here, a relative of friends in Gaza City, just called me distraught because she can't get through to them. I feel angry, and I feel helpless.

This is really sad. I hope your friend has contacted here family by now and they are safe.
She managed to reach them last night, thank God. They are safe - for the moment.
You right, you should be angry, but angry with HAMAS. They did it, they shoot missiles at civilian cities non stop, despite everybody around asked them to stop, then begged them to stop, then warned them to stop. They ignored the everybody, just continued shooting.
have to agree with the last comment. If Palestinian people voted for HAMAS, then they should pick a better govenment or they are as guilty...

the people in the gaza strip voted for Hamas, which means there are no innocent people in gaza. They are all terrorists.
There will be no negotiation with terrorists, as simple as that.
For 8 years they fired rockets on israeli cities. We evicted the gaza strip and they instead of doing something to benefit the people in the gaza strip kept firing rockets on a daily basis.
are they so stupid to think that the people of israel would be intimidated by few rockets ? all it did was to upset all israelis.
we retaliate, it was a strong one, but very minor to what we can really do, we are not targeting civilians.
The hamas is a group of cowards, they hide among civilians, civilians are being hurt because of hamas.
